Repairing Sinkholes with Polyurethane Injection
Sinkholes are often the result of poor soil compaction or improperly filled land. When voids open beneath concrete floors, they can cause rapid settlement, cracking, or collapse. These issues are especially common in areas of the Northeast where historical fill or buried debris was used during construction.
EFT’s polyurethane injection process fills hidden voids and restores slab support without excavation. By injecting expanding foam beneath the slab, the material fills cavities, compacts loose soils, and can even lift settled concrete back into place.
Why It’s a Smarter Solution
Traditional excavation and replacement can be costly, messy, and time-consuming. Polyurethane injections repair the issue from below—stabilizing the structure within hours and allowing immediate return to service.
